Site Manager (Safety Officer)
Ali Ozgen is Site Manager and TWG safety officer for the Group. Ali has a decorated carpentry and building background. His can-do attitude and his understanding of construction detail makes him an efficient site manager.
Ali approaches site safety with the same level of importance as delivery; As they go hand in hand in every project we deliver. More importantly, Ali’s carpentry acumen sees him with the perfect blend of hands-on and documentation compliance that is paramount to the success of today’s construction company.
When Ali is not found onsite delivering projects, he is best found in the gym keeping fit and spending his weekends exploring the seas searching for that monster tuna.
Raj is Project Engineer for The Walsh Group Construction with over 8 years experience in project design & development. His Project experience are predominantly on medium to large scale Projects and has strong technical and design aptitude.
Raj is responsible for project delivery and manages the groups Quality assurance Program, implementation of ITP’s as well as construction compliance and certification. Raj has a high-level work ethic which is passion driven and brings a laser like focus on all projects he is involved with which our clients gain immense benefit from.
When Raj is not at TWG he loves to unwind by taking stunning nature shots of Australia’s amazing landscapes, abseiling and following his beloved waratahs.
Kevin brings over 20 years of multi-industry experience to the Walsh Group Constructions. He has established long term relationships in both the health and education sectors. Kevin also sits on boards of some of Australia’s leading companies and brings to TWG a thorough understanding of corporate governance best practice and strategic implementation.
Kevin has a decorated background stemming from construction, manufacturing, health and occupational health & injury. Kevin’s skillset rests on his ability to create, implement and present innovative solutions to solve major issues faced by Business.
Kevin takes on an active advisory role for The Walsh Group assisting and supporting the Directors on their journey to stay on target to meet both long term and strategic goals for the Group.
Kevin has been with the Group since its inception and has implemented different programs for the Walsh Group and its management and has witnessed the company grow year on year proving Kevin to be an invaluable asset and confidant for its Directors and its executive team.
Joseph is Managing Director for The Walsh Group Construction with over 18 years’ experience in architecture & design as well as construction project management. His project experience across Hospitality, Interior fit-out, commercial and residential projects combined with strong legal & financial acumen allows him to drive overall strategic management of the business & business growth for the group.
For each project commissioned, Joseph ensures optimum project team fit, and works closely with the client, consultants and stakeholders to ensure that all parties’ expectations are exceeded.
Leading TWG’s strategic relationships in the hospitality & hotel sector, Joseph is an active member of the Building Designer’s Association, Australian Institute of landscape Architects, Association of accredited certifiers, Master Builders association, Australian institute of project management, ASOFIA and member of the Australian Hotel & Retailers assoc. network also sits on the board for 2 Industry panels. Being invited to speak at industry events throughout his tenure he is considered by his peers to be an advocate for the construction industry. Utilizing his extensive resource base, he is able to leverage and provide unique value-add services with access to a large database of professionals in their respective industries as well as build genuine relationships for our clients.
A self-confessed book worm (architecture, philosophy & psychology) Joseph loves staying active in one of his beloved sports (tennis, golf, cycling & basketball), has a weakness for all things Italian ( opera, piano, pasta & wine ) and unwinds practicing his beloved art for calligraphy.
Bill E. Walsh
Director, Construction Manager
Bill is Director and heads the construction at The Walsh Group with over 18 years’ extensive experience in all facets of construction. bill’s depth of construction knowledge and experience over his career allows him to provide leadership and high-level construction management to all project delivered at TWG.
Having commenced his construction career in the joinery business initially as a joinery fitter than progressing into manufacturing he founded EPK joinery managing a team of 60 staff under his helm.
Bill’s passion for detailed construction & carpentry along with his background in joinery fitting & manufacturing has enabled him to quickly mold into a full-scale construction manager. His trade background brings the TWG breadth of construction work along with his current accreditations that have allowed Bill to have a comprehensive and invaluable understanding of all facets of the construction and fit-out industry. Having seen first-hand the effects of WH&S onsite; Bill places safety and risk management at the heart of TWG’s operations.
Bill’s experience broadens out to commercial & fit-out refurbishments, hospitality projects, education, child & aged care, commercial & retail fit-out as well as full-scale high-end residential and remedial construction projects. With his eye for detail, Bill’s comprehensive construction knowledge and expertise in structural engineering is a major contributing factor to the success that TWG has steadily built on since its inception.
In his spare time, Bill enjoys deep sea fishing, spearfishing, boxing/Martial arts and spending his weekends hosting family and friends around the BBQ.
Financial Controller (Audit Officer)
As Accounts Manager, Finance & Risk Auditing Officer. Claudia is responsible for The Walsh Groups financial stability and risk management. An established member of The Walsh Groups Executive Leadership team, with her strategic and hands on approach being a major contributing factor to realising the company’s long-term future strategy.
Claudia’s experience spans over 20 years in a range of senior finance roles, including client executive roles and was Senior Accounts at Glad Group specialising in property maintenance and construction.
Claudia is also responsible for ISO 14001 This International Standard helps TWG achieve the intended outcome of its environmental management system, which implements best practices in construction for our environment, the organisation itself and our stakeholders.
When Claudia is not at TWG she is most often found unwinding reading, maintaining her beloved garden and spending her weekends getting the entire family together around the BBQ.
Claudia is also actively involved in TWG’s community engagements.
